Mr. Walters joined Crockett and Associates after serving for more than a decade as General Counsel for public and private companies in diverse industries including real estate, technology, healthcare, logistics, consumer goods, and financial services.  Prior to becoming General Counsel, he was an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher representing Fortune 500 companies and other plaintiffs and defendants in commercial and general business litigation, antitrust and unfair competition, class action, regulatory and securities actions, and intellectual property disputes.  Mr. Walters represented some of the world’s leaders in technology, retail, entertainment, telecommunications, transportation, and healthcare.  He was part of the legal team representing a pro bono client that helped obtain a rarely granted writ of certiorari from the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Walters received his J.D. from UCLA School of Law where he served as the Chief Articles Editor for the UCLA Journal of Law & Technology and as an executive board member in the Moot Court Honors Program.  He graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration from The George Washington University.  He has published articles in the Journal of Internet Law and the UCLA Journal of Law & Technology.

He is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in California.
